About Us


Established in 1994, Home Instead now provides care across a network of over 1200 offices in 13 countries around the world and we are now looking to expand our highly successful relationship based home care model in New Zealand.

What is a Home Instead Agent?


A Home Instead Agent is an independent contractor to Home Instead with the key responsibility of generating growth through client referrals primarily in the healthcare sector. In addition, our Agents conduct the initial service enquiry and care consultation with prospective clients to ensure their hard work of generating referrals pays off through client contract sign- up.

An Agent pays a nominal start up fee in exchange for an exclusive territory, comprehensive training and an ongoing commission payment for the duration of a clients services with Home Instead.

As an Agent, you are supported by our national office who manage the ongoing relationship and support services for clients, as well as the recruitment, retention and training of our CAREGivers.

Unlike franchising, there is no royalty payment - instead we will pay you a percentage of revenue generated (trailing commission).

Sales Agent Requirements


You will already be successful, driven and in search of a change that provides challenge, opportunity and comprehensive training and support, with unlimited earning potential.

Your career track record will show a history of achievement through dedication, application and enthusiasm and your attributes include:
  • High integrity and ability to operate in accordance with our core values.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build a strong network.
  • Comfortable working independently whilst maintaining a strong and collaborative working relationship with other Business Partners and the Support Office.

Training and Support

  • Monthly support payment of $2000/month for the first year
  • Monthly marketing fund of $1000/month for the first year
  • Marketing start up kit (valued at $7000)
