After observing poor outcomes for homeowners as a Surveyor due to the design, building methods employed and general lack of understanding of the science behind a building’s performance, the Green Homes Brand really struck a chord with Wal, our newest franchisee. He chose to join Green Homes because our ethos focuses on design and performance for better outcomes for future generations in terms of sustainable materials, energy efficiency and healthy living for homeowners as a result. Wal is proud that Green Homes New Zealand is a member of the Green Building Council plus he is looking forward to incorporating Universal Design principles into some of his new builds via their design partner Lifemark ®. Lifemark ® accredited homes are safer and more accessible, especially for people with mobility issues, or for those who want to future proof their home well into retirement and beyond.
